Super visa for your duper clan!
In case your parents or grandparents wish to visit through a regular multiple entry visa, they can only stay upto 6 months in one go even when the validity for the same is up to years.
Eligibility criteria:
To attain a super visa, your parents or grandparents must fulfill the following requirements;
- Be parents or grandparents of a student in Canada.
- Having a signed letter known as a letter of invitation as proof either from child or grandchild including;
- Financial support from their end.
- Total number of people in the house along with their list.
- Copy of child or grandchild’s Canadian pr or citizenship as proof.
- Get medical insurance from a local Canadian company which;
- Has validity for a minimum of 1 year from the date of commencement.
- Has a minimum insurance coverage of $1,00,000.
- Is inclusive of proof stating that the insurance has been paid.
Apart from the eligibility, it is advised that you;
- Are permitted to enter Canada
- Undertake medical examination
- Proceed with the super visa application from outside Canada.
Imp note: Dependants are not allowed to be included in this visa application.
A business visitor is allowed to exercise a few activities which are;
- Attending trade shows and conferences
- Undertake client meeting
- Get trained by your organization if required
