Your host country is set to
become your new home!

Availing permanent residency refers to getting the permission of settling up in your host country but you may not be counted as a citizen of that country because you already hold citizenship of another country.

Out of thousands of applications, only those who fulfill various criteria of age, education, language proficiency, and work experience will be eligible to apply for a PR. Even though people having PR might not be considered citizens of Canada, but they are certainly eligible to enjoy;

  • Equivalent social benefits and health care coverage as cities.
  • Study, work, and live all over Canada
  • Can apply for citizenship
  • Legal protection under Canadian law and the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms
  • Pay liable taxes and respect judicial norms

The dual side of the coin “PR” is its limitations;

  • PRs cannot vote or represent a political authority
  • They are not allowed to be employed on high-level security clearance jobs

Provincial Nominee Program
(PNP)

Run by the provincial government and decided at the federal level, this program allows provinces/territories to select immigrants based upon the requirements so that they can contribute to the economy.

You are eligible for PNP even if your CRS score is less than 450 and you can earn an extra 600 points in CRS ultimately enhancing your chance to apply for FSW. You need to have your medical examination certificate along with a police certificate in place before applying.
