Bachelor's in Germany without Studienkolleg (English-taught)

Studienkolleg is compulsory only in the Bachelor's degree to bridge the gap of 1 year that arises due to the difference in schooling, i.e. 12 years in India and 13 years in Germany.

However, one can skip the course of Studienkolleg by studying at Indian University for a year. It allows the student to apply for a Bachelor's program in Germany directly. The condition is that the course pursued is of the same credential as the one wanting to study in Germany.
