Studienkolleg-Gateway to German Universities!

Studienkolleg is an international study program for students who want to study in Germany but whose school leaving certificate is not recognised there. It's basically a pathway to Germany and with German student visa that allows you to start your Bachelor's or Master's degree in Germany without any prior qualification from German schools.

It is a foundation course for non-EU-students who plan to study Bachelor's in Germany, but their education qualification doesn't qualify for direct entrance. In such a scenario, the aspirant will have to first enrol in Studienkolleg in Germany, which is a year's programme. This is because Germany expects 13 years of Education to start a Bachelor's programme and secure your German Student visa. Thus, in the case where you have completed 12 years of Education, you have to enrol.

In India, Students with IB Board and students who crack JEE Advance can skip the Studienkolleg. However, it is not recommended, as skipping Studienkolleg will deprive if students in developing personal, social, and communicative competencies such as self-organization, team spirit, or presentation of results.
