Make sure all the timelines have a green flag as some universities serve the admission on a first cum first-served basis.
Documents
Documents are an integral part of your application as well as admission therefore, it is recommended to prepare and check them carefully.

Intakes
Just like the semester system around the globe, you can secure admission into German Universities in two intakes explained below;
Summer Intake:
You can only apply for limited courses and Universities in summer intake.This generally starts in March or April and goes on till September, the deadline to apply for the same is January 15th.
Winter Intake:
Most German Universities accept students via winter intake and thus, you can apply to various Universities and courses.
Starting from September or October this intake goes on till February/March, the deadline to apply for the same is July 15th.

Various portals wherein you can apply for the university you want to are mentioned underneath.
Uni-Assist
An authorized platform where you can look across 180 German Universities accepting international students and apply for your dream universities after getting your profile evaluated thereby sending notarized documents to Uni-Assist without which the application will not proceed.
University’s Own Portal
While you look for the Universities on their website, you can also apply on their portal by uploading the necessary documents by filling in the required details, and lastly sending them your notarized documents.
Via Hard Copy
Some universities might ask you to send your application in a hard copy wherein you will have to take a printout of the application form, attach the required documents, and finally send those as soon as possible to secure your seat.
